Stevie & Brian | Portland Wedding Photographer

Here are a few favorites from Stevie and Brian’s beautiful wedding! Stevie’s sister contacted me on a Tuesday, and they were planning to get married that following Sunday due to a family sickness. I happened to be headed to Portland that very night and it was so awesome to be able to meet her in person before their day.

The wedding happened mid-day at Brian’s parents home, which I believe was also a farm. They had chickens and goats, on a beautiful property north of Corvallis in the rolling hills. Couldn’t have been more perfect! Stevie’s 3 sisters and mother were able to last minute fly in, and her nephew almost stole the show with this adorable seersucker suit. (it even came in a mini garment bag!!! See photo below:) The best part was when they were announced as husband and wife, Brian’s dog Maya started barking. So funny.

It was a very emotional day for all – and since I am a very sensitive person, it was very emotional for me as well. Stevie had said in our meeting that she wanted their day to be happy, and not sad, so I am choosing to only show happy images and steer from the sad –  I wish their family all the happiness and strength in the world for what they are going through, and I am so happy to know that their family member was able to be there to see them marry.
