Whoop, whoop! I am finally getting caught up after my Tour De Midwest Weddings 2012. I was worried that would never happen!
The James J Hill Library in Downtown St. Paul has been hands down one of my most favorite venues I have ever shot at. The architecture is absolutely amazing, and couldn’t narrow down what I wanted “to do with” Erica and Dan for photos. The books add so much character, not to mention the giant pillars and the MOST AMAZING ceiling I have ever laid my eyes on. (you will see below!!)
Their day was pretty amazing – Their decor was library themed (appropriate) and their centerpieces were decorated with awesome blue mason jars that I guess are very hard to find. The flowers were all different, which I absolutely loved, and their guest book was a dictionary where the guests would circle a word that they felt is most important in marriage. What a lovely idea! Instead of a cake, they had IZZY’S Icecream!! If you haven’t had the salted caramel flavor, you need to drop everything this minute and go try it.
Their photo booth was also a giant hit, and thanks to my cousin who second shot with me that day, I didn’t have to man the dance floor and the photo booth at the same time! He did such a great job helping me that day. I am going to hire him on if I we ever move back to Minnesota for good.
Erica and Dan, I hope you had the best day ever! Thank you so much for having me as part of your day. Here area some favorites that tell your story!!
